In April 2023, a video of a girl made rounds online as she was dressed in a bralette and a skirt inviting a range of condemning to explicit comments. It also raised questions and debate on ‘obscenity’ and freedom of expression in India, as Rhythm Chanana wore a DIY bralette and traveled with her bag in a Delhi metro coach. Many users said that no one should question anyone’s rights regarding their choice of clothes, while many slammed the girl for carrying this stunt online.
