NEW DELHI: Activision's Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 servers blacked out for a while on November 28 which affected connectivity on all platforms.
Call of Duty page showed that all servers were on DEFCON 3 which means “ONLINE SERVICES ARE DEGRADED. USERS IN SOME REGIONS MAY EXPERIENCE CONNECTIVITY ISSUES.”
This co-incided with the 'double XP weekend' where the players were supposed to earn double the experience for the games played.
This became a series of outages over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend.
Some PS4 servers were showing that services were at DEFCON 5 which meant all servers are working fine and yet they could not connect.
