28 Jammu and Kashmir police officers awarded President's medal

Twenty-eight police officers from Jammu and Kashmir, including IGP Jammu Dilbagh Singh and IGP Kashmir S M Sahai, were awarded the President's medal on the eve of the Independence Day.

JAMMU: Twenty-eight police officers from Jammu and Kashmir, including IGP Jammu Dilbagh Singh and IGP Kashmir S M Sahai, were awarded the President's medal on the eve of the Independence Day.
Meanwhile, the government has awarded 20 police officers Sher-i-Kashmir Police Medal for meritorious services and gallantry.
Sub-inspector Shiv Kumar Sharma was the lone recipient of the President's police medal for gallantry from Jammu and Kashmir whereas twenty police officers were awarded the President's police medal for meritorious services.
