NEW DELHI: The CBSE, which cancelled its all India pre-medical examination Saturday night, following leakage of question papers, said it would announce new dates for the test on Monday.

NEW DELHI: The CBSE, which cancelledits all India pre-medical examination Saturday night, following leakage ofquestion papers, said it would announce new dates for the test on Monday, evenas agitated parents and students staged demonstrations outside its office andexam centres. "Preliminary exam dates will be announced tommorrow",said Pavnesh Kumar, Controller of Examinations.Kumar said the dateswould be intimated to newspapers, television channels and students. Meanwhile anumber of agitated students and their parents raised slogans against CBSEoutside its headquarters."I had come from Kolkata to give the exambut now I do not know how long I have to wait", said Snehashish, astudent.However, police who were deployed in numbers outside theheadquarters said that there was no violence."Except for some sloganshouting there was no untoward incident", a police officersaid.Earlier, Chairman Ashok Ganguly had said there were certainweak links like transport and storage of papers, which could have led to theleakage.The Chairman said a committee would go into the leakage andadequate steps would be taken to overcome its recurrence.
