NEW DELHI: The majority of exit polls are predicting a hung House in Chhattisgarh as the
BJP and
Congress are in a close fight in the state.
According to the poll of exit polls, BJP is expected to get 40 seats and the Congress will get 44 seats in the state. Others are predicted to get six seats in the state.
Exit poll resultsThe BJP will get 46 seats in Chhattisgarh while the Congress will get 35 seats and other parties will get 9, according to Times Now-CNX exit poll.
According to Today's Chanakya exit poll, Congress will get 50 seats while BJP is expected to win 36 seats in the state. The exit poll has predicted 4 seats for other parties.
According to the CVoter exit poll, the BJP will get 39, Congress will have 46 while as the BSP+ will get 3-7 seats.
According to India TV exit poll, Congress will get 46, BJP will get 35 and the alliance of Ajit Jogi and Mayawati will get 9 seats in the state.
According to Jan Ki Baat exit poll, BJP is getting 44 seats, Congress is getting 40 while other parties will get 6 seats.
According to Axis My India exit polls, BJP is expected to get 26 seats and the Congress will get 60 seats while other parties will get 4.
According to NewsX-NETA exit polls, BJP will get 43 seats and the Congress will get 40. Others are expected to get 7 seats in the state.
Chhattisgarh has 90 assembly seats and the majority mark is 46.
The incumbent Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is in power for the last 15 years. There are two other key parties contesting in the state -- the Congress and the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) which has struck an alliance with former CM Ajit Jogi's newly-formed party Janata Congress Chhattisgarh (JCC).
