A Delhi court has extended the police custody of LeT militant accused in the Delhi serial blasts case to Dec 21.
NEW DELHI: A Delhi court on Thursday extended the police custody of Lashkar-e-Toiba militant Tariq Ahmed Dar, accused in the serial blasts in Delhi, to December 21. Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Madhu Jain extended his remand by 13 days after the special cell of the Delhi police sought more time for his interrogation in connection with the blast at Govindpuri.
Dar was also remanded to judicial custody till December 22 in connection with the blasts in shopping markets at Sarojini Nagar and Paharganj. Police have filed separate FIRs in the three blasts. According to police, Dar had financed and coordinated the October 29 blasts, which claimed 67 lives and injured over 200 persons.
