jaipur: chief minister ashok gehlot is yet to take a final decision on the resignation of public health engineering department minister ram singh vishnoi. gehlot, who returned here on sunday morning from guwahati after attending a conference of congress chief ministers, is holding talks with senior cabinet colleagues on the issue. vishnoi resigned a day after raw material used for manufacture of intoxicating drugs was discovered in a raid conducted by the central excise and customs department at a cement factory in bilara, jodhpur district, on friday.
the factory, which had been lying closed for the past two years, was rented by his son paras ram. ‘‘the cm takes time to decide such matters, and in vishnoi’s case he will take a decision only after going into the details of the raid,’’ a senior congressman said.
