Delhi Police has postponed the identification parade of LeT militant arrested for the Delhi blasts case, till Friday.
NEW DELHI: Delhi Police has postponed the test identification parade of a Lashkar-e-Toiba militant arrested in connection with the October 29 Delhi serial blasts case, till Friday. The parade scheduled for Thursday has been postponed and will be conducted inside the Tihar Jail complex on Friday, police sources said. Special Cell ACP SK Tewari, also the Investigating Officer of the case, had on Wednesday moved an application seeking the test identification parade of Rafiq before the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate's court in Tis Hazari.
Rafiq was arrested from Jammu and Kashmir on November 21 on information provided by another accused Tariq Ahmed Dar during his interrogation. Rafiq was allegedly instrumental in arranging funds for carrying out the blasts in Sarojini Nagar and Paharganj markets besides the one in a bus which killed 67 persons and injured over 200 others.
