CHANDIGARH: The secretary-general of Indian national lok dal (INLD) and Dabwali MLA Ajay Singh Chautala on Tuesday lambasted the Congress leaders, as well as the Haryana chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda while apprehending registration of another criminal case against his family at their behest.
Interacting with mediapersons here, while referring to constitution of committee by Vidhan Sabha speaker to probe the source of transfer of land to trusts and welfare bodies managed by him as well as his family members, Ajay Singh Chautala minced no words by terming the same desperate move to divert attention of masses from the issue related to controversial transfer of panchayat land to Rajiv Gandhi Charitable Trust in Ullahwas village of Gurgaon.

Referring to the apprehension of registration of another criminal case, Ajay Singh informed about the government`s alleged move of having approached the enforcement directorate (ED) to ascertain the allegations of purchase of immovable properties out of India.
"So far allegations of transfer of lands through gift deeds are concerned we have enough documents to establish that the lands were purchased by trusts that too after paying the market price. Since the matter is pending in court, hence we would not elaborate much on that. Otherwise, we have long list of land scams like RGCT land transfer with us," Ajay Singh said.
