Union Minister Giriraj Singh on Wednesday expressed strong confidence in the BJP's prospects in the recently concluded assembly elections in Jharkhand and Maharashtra. By 4 pm, the INDIA bloc, led by the JMM, had established a strong lead in more than 50 constituencies out of the 81 total seats, while the BJP-led NDA coalition was leading in 26 seats. Early results showed the JMM winning 7 seats, with the BJP securing just 1.
