CM Yogi reviews Maha Kumbh preparations

Security boost with 7-tier plan
Over 50,000 police personnel will be deployed for Maha Kumbh 2025. A 7-tier security plan, including disaster management tools and 40,000 police, will ensure safety during key bathing dates.
Improved roads and infrastructure
Roads leading to the Kumbh area will be rebuilt by Jan 5, with over Rs 350 crore spent on bridge repairs. Traffic management and foot patrolling will also be enhanced for smooth flow.
AI-based security system for crowd management
A new AI-driven data analytics system will help monitor real-time data, ensuring better crowd control and public safety. It will support coordination among various security agencies.
Emergency preparedness with new tools
Rs 200 crore has been allocated for disaster management, fire safety, and crowd control. New rescue equipment and advanced communication tools will be used to manage emergencies effectively.
Health and hygiene focus
Over 1.5 lakh toilets will be installed for the devotees. Thousands of sanitation workers will maintain cleanliness, while health facilities, including temporary hospitals, are being set up.
Technology for seamless experience
The Maha Kumbh 2025 will see the introduction of the Maha Kumbh Police app and other digital tools. These will improve access, safety, and communication for the millions of attendees.
