MP JD(U) chief Bachchan Nayak dead

NEW DELHI: Madhya Pradesh unitpresident of Janata Dal (United) Bachchan Nayak died in Katni on Thursdayfollowing a massive heart attack. He was 54 and is survived by hiswife.Condoling his death, JD(U) president and Union Minister SharadYadav said that the sudden passing away of Nayak had created a void in thepolitical scene of Madhya Pradesh.Yadav is proceeding to Katni topay respect to the departed leader and convey his condolences to the bereavedfamily, according to JD(U) secretary Javed Raza here.A condolencemeeting was held in the Janata Dal (United) office at Jantar Mantar here inmemory of Nayak.
