Vaiko-Gopal case hearing to be split

NEW DELHI: The Central Pota Review Committee on Thursday decided to split the hearing of the cases registered against MDMK chief Vaiko and Nakkeeran weekly editor R R Gopal by Tamil Nadu government under the tough anti-terrorism law.
The case against Vaiko and Gopal which was heard together till now, will now be taken up separately, committee chairperson Justice Arun B Saharya said at a specially set up courtroom in the high-security Vigyan Bhavan annexe here.
