Years after his death in 1977, he continues to remain one of the most influential figures in the history of cinema, and his inspires filmmakers even today.

​‘My Autobiography’ by Charlie Chaplin

​'My Autobiography’ is Charlie Chaplin's autobiography that was published in 1964. The book covers his childhood, his rise to fame in Hollywood, and his personal life. The book also chronicles various hardships he faced in reaching his goals. In this book, he talks about the worldwide fame he acquired after the success of his film 'The Little Tramp'. He also opens up about his failed marriages and scandals, which lead to his exile from Hollywood.

​‘A Comedian Sees the World’ by Charlie Chaplin​

​This travelogue by Chaplin was published in 1934. In the book, he recounts his experiences during a world tour which he took in the early 1930s. The book is a travel memoir which was initially published as a set of five articles in Women’s Home Companion from September 1933 to January 1934. Later they were put together and published as a book.

​‘Charlie Chaplin's Own Story’ is a book that was published in 1916, early in Chaplin's career. The book was ghostwritten by journalist Rose Wilder Lane, but Chaplin contributed to its contents. The book covers Chaplin's early life and his experiences in Hollywood up to that point. ‘Charlie Chaplin's Own Story’ is a true ‘rags to riches' story.
