Kangana Ranaut releases new book about PM Narendra Modi’s speeches; shares story
Actor turned politician, BJP’s face for Himachal Pradesh, Kangana Ranaut has been in the limelight for quite some time. First her win in Mandi, and then the interviews that followed put her at the forefront. And now, Kangana has stunned the world with a recent revelation.
In the past few months, Kangana Ranaut has compiled, edited, and presented all the speeches given by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the Red Fort on Independence Day.
According to her Instagram story, the book has been titled ‘Rashtra Pratham Narendra Modi’, which can also be translated to ‘Nation First with PM Modi’. The book compiles and translates PM Modi's Independence Day speeches delivered during his tenure, and Kangana recommends all students, children, researchers, and adults to give the book a read in order to understand the vision of the Prime Minister.
Kangana Ranaut also shared that the book has been published by ‘Narendra Modi Adhyayan Centre’.
This is not the first time that Kangana has come out as a literary enthusiast. About 4 years ago when the world was in quarantine due to COVID-19 pandemic, Kangana shared a video on her Instagram page where she criticised the habit of binging on television, series, and the likes, and talked about how it became a competition to watch as many as possible.
And then, as an alternative, she mentioned a few books that people can read instead. For example, there was ‘The Kite Runner’ by Khaled Hosseini, ‘The Notebook’ by Nicholas Sparks, ‘Raja Yoga’ by Swami Vivekananda, and much more.
She also shared that she did not feel that books like ‘The Alchemist’ and ‘The Fountainhead’ were apt for beginners as they were very intensely layered.
Overall, this new book edited and compiled by Ranaut is like a means to preserve the speeches as a historical record, and also show how India transformed under PM Modi's leadership. Plus, as she shared in the story, it will also inspire researchers and students, and will overall be a great way to know more about PM Modi’s persona and his vision.
