Books about the Kargil war

No war should be celebrated. A war, by definition, is the outcome of hatred between unyielding men of power that brings about the death of thousand soldiers, unconsolable tears of family members, and fear. These soldiers, for the love of their countrymen and the need to protect our borders from outside attack, lay their lives out for us, for war-mongers who only glorify the different aspects of warfare. The Kargil War of 1999 was fought between India and Pakistan along the Line of Control. Though India emerged victorious in the conflict, innumerable lives were lost. Here are some books that honour the perseverance of our soldiers and explain the politics behind it. Read on!
