This Sunday was particularly special for
Shakira, as she turned 48, and also took home the
Grammy for best Latin pop album for ‘Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran’. The Columbian singer’s Grammy moment and her fit for the night grabbed eyeballs. Obviously, for all the right reasons. She walked the red carpet with her arresting looks in an Etro ensemble.
Shakira wore a lace number for the glitzy evening. The dress consisting of a silk jersey body suit adorned with orange and black floral motifs came with a mermaid-style gown in black lace. The pop of colour of the bodysuit was perfectly balanced with the sequin lace skirt featuring a slit and a long train.
For accessories, Shakira chose a pair of dangling earrings, cuffs, and rings from Pomellato. Her auburn hair with her iconic waves, added to the vixen energy. She kept the makeup on point with her fresh makeup, pink-tinted lips, and lots of mascara. The singer surely stole hearts with her stunning look, and that wasn’t all.
For her performance later, Shakira opted for an ensemble from the same designer. She wore an embroidered tulle bralette featured with bronze and gold paisley patterns. Shakira paired it along with a fringe skirt, resembling her iconic performance looks. The multi-layered skirt was embellished with crystal and metal motifs.
Meanwhile, Shakira has three
Grammys to her credit, and the latest one is another addition. The singer’s emotional speech during Grammys acceptance too resonated with her fans.

“I want to dedicate this award to all my immigrant brothers and sisters. In this country, you're loved, you're worth it, and I will always fight with you. And to all of those women who work really hard every day to provide for their families, you are the true she-wolves, so this is for you, too,” she said.
While arriving on the red carpet, prior to the show, Shakira told LA Times en Español, “I was also an immigrant who came here to this city with a dream. I know very well what those setbacks are like, but also how strong our people are. Latinos are unstoppable and I won’t tire of fighting with them and for them. Together, we will persevere.”
