Janhvi Kapoor’s quintessential Paithani saree doesn’t just paint the town red, it sets it on fire

All set for her upcoming release ‘Param Sundari’, the diva visited the Lalbaugcha Raja in Mumbai and sought blessings from Ganpati Bappa, dressed in a stunning red Paithani drape. She wore a timeless handloom Paithani drape, which embodied the spirit of tradition and culture. The pure silk saree dipped in red and opulent gold looked no less than a blooming bouquet.



With stunning floral motifs painted all over the main bodice in myriad colour combinations, Janhvi looked absolutely surreal and exuded her love for heritage and culture in the most subtle yet gorgeous way.


Matching the festive energy, she teamed it with a plain red U-neckline, shoulder-length blouse, and added a hint of Marathi vibe with a statement Maharashtrian nath. Embellished with pearls and precious stones, the paisley design encrusted with these gorgeous beads added the right amount of regal opulence.

Janhvi also wore a pair of traditional jhumkas with matching ear cuffs, rings, and bangles. Completing the traditional look with a classic, simple bindi, she kept a flawless makeup base and enhanced her expressive eyes with winged eyeliner and a gorgeous kohl finish.


Styling her hair in a French braid with soft flicks in the front, which softly framed her face, she made us fall in love all over again with traditional Paithanis and introduced her statement floral motifs that were the epicentre of all her promotional looks for ‘Param Sundari’.
