FDCI office is buzzing with activities right now.
Rohit Gandhi- Rahul Khanna and Varun Bahl on Thursday decided to make a comeback to FDCI. The three of them said, ���We felt it was important for us to support the industry nobal body. Once Ms Karuna Khaitan resigned from the board, we decided to remain as active members of the FDCI. We have the utmost respect for Mr Sumeet Nair and his capabilities.However, since we did not wish to divide the fashion industry any further we have chosen not to be part of Mr Nair���s fashion event.���
Another development at the FDCI is the formation of the ���Special Committee��� for the fashion week. They have a special committee is place, which was recently nominated by the board member of FDCI. According to a memorandum, this special committee has the power to take independent decisions for the upcoming fashion week without interference from the board. The people who are a part of this special committee are ��� Rajesh Pratap Singh, Ritu Kumar, Manish Arora, JJ Valaya, Rina Dhaka, Rohit Gandhi, Paras and Sunil Sethi. While Sethi is the president of FDCI, Rina and Manish are also the board members.
