Decoding Rashmika’s mangalsutra design

The mangalsutra perfectly blends Kodava and Telugu wedding vibes, featuring a Lakshmi motif at the centre, which stands for good luck, prosperity, and blessings. It features delicate serpent patterns wrapped around it, adding a layer of spiritual strength and protection, along with twin pusta lockets, which are a must-have in Telugu bridal jewellery. This clasp locks the eternal marriage promise, making the detailing absolutely gorgeous.

Fans loved one fun touch: a small ‘Rowdy’ brand logo charm, which is Vijay Deverakonda’s nickname given to him by his massive fanbase. The design also included a kokkethathi, a crescent-shaped pendant worn in Kodava customs known to bring grace and charm. Jewellers named this piece ‘Sutram Stack', as it is a combination of a heritage piece with an edge.



With all the other gold pieces, fans couldn't get a peek of the mangalsutra during the wedding, but Rashmika proudly wore it during her fan meet session in Hyderabad, giving us a clear look at this intimate wonder.
