Sagarika Ghatge More picsFrom playing hockey on-field to oozing oodles of glamour at a fashion event, Sagarika Ghatge is, indeed, a head turner.
After wooing her fans with rocking performance in Chak De! India, the actress was spotted in a new avatar at the recently concluded Fashion Week in New Delhi.
Sporting a radiant smile and killer looks, the lady charmed all as she got a makeover done by the renowned make-up stylist Ambika Pillai at Fiama Di Wills salon.

But naturally beautiful, all she needed was just a light grey shimmer to match the exquisite designer dress a Rohit Gandhi-Rahul Khanna creation.
Believe it or not, I hardly use any make-up on a routine day, the Chak De girl confessed. I am just like a college kid who will be in jeans and top and nothing over-the-top.
Personally I like dressing up and you wont find me in track pants all the time as it was in the movie. However, I always wear something comfortable, not fussy dresses or too elaborate outfits, she added.
But Sagarika had no qualms admitting that she had to keep track of the latest fashion trends. If you are an actor, you have to look good so that people like to watch you on the screen, said the svelte actress.

Would she like to be a designers muse and walk the ramp? I think I am good as an actor and wont really feel comfortable as a model, pat came the reply.
So whats keeping the actress busy nowadays? A few endorsements and a couple of films are lined up. But Ill talk about them only when my producers make an official announcement.
Is womens hockey going to be the most glamorous sport after cricket? Of course, yes! Lots of cricketers and tennis stars have achieved iconic status and people look up to them for style statements, Sagarika asserted.
And lastly, what did she think of the mens hockey team who had failed to qualify for the Olympics?
Its not fair to blame them just because they have lost it this time, the Chak De girl in Sagarika instantly spoke up.
Ive seen their practice...the time and the hard work they had put in the game. So instead of blasting the Indian hockey team, we should look back at their previous performances and think of the glories they had won for the country, she concluded.
