It is the place where fashion meets tradition. And saris from the brand testify that. The master craftsmen make sure women’s needs are met. The creations are exclusively designed keeping today’s woman in mind.
At the Bangalore Fashion Week, Kalanjali showcased unique creations of monochromatic fusion, where all the shades of beauty were brought together in a seamless fusion. With a varied range of fabrics, weaves and schools of styles blended perfectly to depict the all-encompassing beauty of a woman. It is presented in two unique themes:
Desi Mem: The idea behind this theme is to incorporate traditional tailoring and modern colour choices to reflect the image of a modern woman. It uses tart yellow, lollipop pink and creamy peach complemented by cool blue and mint shades that capture the traditional trappings of femininity. The look and the colours portrayed are Victorian and vintage with a soulful touch that is essentially Indian.
The Bold & the Beautiful: This theme is an amalgamation of monochrome as well as fusion, with designs created in the shades of a single colour, with a style that has let traditional weaves of lkkat and double lkkats from Andhra Pradesh mingle with the vivacious and energetic style of Gurjari from Gujarat.
