LFW Day 3: Malini's martini mix

Joyful journeys was what it was as Malini Ramani took you on a terrific trip in collaboration with Grey Goose with the finest luxury resort wear inspired by the perfect holiday accompaniment – the martini.
It all kicked off with the Mexican Martini with bright colours of the Mexican landscape: sunflower yellow and fuchsia with jewel-toned appliqué, sexy kaftans and dresses.Next was the Cote Azure Crush that took you to the sun-kissed beaches with effervescent colours from azure to mango and sired red. You were then taken a trip to the Indian Summer with white chiffon, jersey and cotton silk as the base, combining Rajasthan threadwork in dazzling shades adorned with shells, mirrors and studs. Then Zanzibar Temptation took you on a trip of digital prints in soft flowing chiffons, jerseys and evening dresses with exotic embellishments. Zebra printed wraps, snake print tunics and modern bandhini wre the motifs used. And the last line was the Bombabe, bringing you back to Bombay (Mumbai) taking inspiration from the red carpet and bringing forth four liquid gold draped gowns that make every woman feel like a movie star.
