How to use leftover rajma at home

Rajma or kidney beans is a popular legume enjoyed across India. And when it comes to these high-protein beans, the most popular dish is Rajma Chawal. But, if you are someone who has a deep love for rajma and has some leftover rajma in the fridge, here are some really interesting variations that can be prepared for lunch. Take a look.

Rajma Paratha


To make this, simply mash leftover rajma with onions, green chilli, and spices and then use as stuffing for parathas. Cook with oil or ghee and enjoy with curd and pickle on the side.

Rajma Chaat


This makes for an interesting way of enjoying rajma. All you need to do is, toss rajma with chopped onions, tomatoes, lemon juice, chaat masala, and coriander leaves and add chutney and curd on top. Garnish with sev and enjoy.

Rajma Pulao


This rice dish is good for office or school tiffin too and to make it, add rajma to jeera rice or veg pulao while cooking the rice and your filling meal is ready.

This is loved by all and to make it, simply mash cooked rajma with boiled potato, breadcrumbs, and spices. Shape into tikki or cutlet and shallow-fry.Enjoy with chutney and chai.
