This is what Pakistan's famous blue-eyed chaiwala is doing in London now

Remember the blue-eyed Chaiwala who became an instant hit internationally for his unique looks, all thanks to the social media? Ever since Arshad Khan, the Pakistani Chaiwala went viral in 2016, there has been no looking back for him. Recently, the Pakistani Chaiwala opened a new cafe with the name ‘Chai Cafe’ in Ilford Lane, London, which is mostly inhabited by Asian communities.

He announced the opening of this cafe on his Instagram page @chaiwalauk_ak and posted a video with the caption, “Taking a sip of chai and a ride on this beauty at Cafe Chaiwala Arshad Khan in London ilford lane- the perfect way to experience Pakistani culture in the UK.OPENING SOON! STAY TUNED!” As per media reports, it’s the first international outlet of Cafe Chaiwala.

In one of his posts, Arshad wrote, “Indulge in the authentic flavours of real, fresh Karak Chai, brewed with love and tradition. No artificial shortcuts here, just the genuine goodness of a ladle-brewed delight. Step into Cafe Chaiwala and savour Arshad Khan’s true chai recipes served in beautifully hand-painted clay pots( yes! You can take them home too).

He is no novice to the restaurant business, as Arshad opened his first Chai Cafe in Islamabad and named it Cafe Chaiwala Rooftop and he plans to serve ‘desi tea’ in his own style to the diverse community living in East London.
