Watch: Consumer found dead mouse in Hershey’s chocolate syrup
Packaged foods are known for using artificial flavours and chemicals and that's the reason it is suggested to limit their consumption. But, when these packaged foods end up serving human fingers and dead mice inside the package, it is surely alarming. Scroll down to read the details.
A few days after a Mumbai-based doctor found a human finger in an ice cream cone ordered online, a family now discovered a dead mouse in a bottle of Hershey’s chocolate syrup. Take a look at the video.
Sharing the video on Instagram, Prami Sridhar said three family members consumed the contaminated syrup before noticing the issue, and that one of them had to get a medical examination done.

As soon as the video went viral, Hershey’s responded to it saying, “Hi there, we are very sorry to see this. Please send us the UPC and manufacturing code from the bottle to consumercare@hersheys.com with the reference number 11082163 so one of our team members can assist you!”
As per reports, the family tried to register a complaint with the company and said they did not get any response. The post also said that a girl who consumed the syrup fainted and had to be rushed to a hospital, but said she is safe.

Showing concerns, the user concluded the post saying, “This is extremely concerning and unacceptable. We worried about the health risks and the lack of quality control. Please address this issue immediately. I demand a full investigation and assurance that this will not happen again.”

Early in January 2024, a Prayagraj resident shared a horrifying incident, where he ordered a veg meal frim BBQ Nation in Worli, Mumbai and discovered a dead mouse in his food. He was later hospitalized form more than 75 hours due to health concerns.
