Since there is no right and wrong way to create, one often sense the feeling of inferiority and insecurity melt away to be replaced by self worth, self esteem and self confidence. The whole process of creating a pot right from wedging and kneading the clay to throwing on the wheel, later trimming to remove excess clay followed by bisquing, glazing and fire helps an individual to release pent up emotions which act as a great stress buster. It has helped me to focus on my creative and positive energies have a different perspective altogether to what I am facing on the personal front.”
