High energy food after a morning work out
After an early morning work-out the body is exhausted and drained of all the energy. It needs to regain lost strength and get ready to face the day. At times like these, high energy food is all that it is needed to get it back on track. Include these in your post work-out diet plan –
Almonds: Excellent sources of antioxidants, almonds are known to lower cholesterol.

So add them to your bowl of cornflakes, cereals, smoothies or milkshake.
Banana:Bananas are the best and healthy sources of carbohydrates. Make a healthy banana shake instead of eating just the fruit. Bananas contains a unique mixture of vitamins, minerals and carbohydrates that can boost your endurance levels.
Fruit Salad: Sweet, juicy fruits are a great source of vitamins. Eat oranges, apples, blackberries and grapefruit since these contain antioxidants and fibre that maintain a healthy blood pressure and improve the heart health
Oatmeal: Oatmeal reduces bad cholesterol and contains protein, fibre and carbohydrates which will make you feel full. Add any fruit of your choice or cook it with spices to make it more tasty and edible.
Vegetables: Vegetables contain antioxidants, protein, vitamins and minerals that will strengthen your body, help you build leaner muscles and boost your immunity as well. Make a simple sandwich with cucumber and tomato and have it for breakfast.
