In 2009, Mr. Manohar Singh, 63, a resident of Haldwani (Nainital), received life-altering news—he was diagnosed with cancer. Chemotherapy was initiated at the hospital. However, feeling uncertain about continuing conventional treatment and searching for an alternative path, Mr. Singh decided not to proceed further with the prescribed medications.
