Witnesses described the vehicle bursting into flames upon impact, with the fire even spreading to nearby vegetation. Emergency responders confirmed that both men died at the scene.Back in Portugal, Rute Cardoso remains surrounded by family, trying to shield their three young children from the tragedy. Sources close to the family say his funeral is likely to be held in Porto.
