Egoistic & hot-headed: The DARK SIDE of Leo

The Leo soul can best be described as the Lion – King of the Jungle. Powerful, dynamic, born leaders, usually get whatever they want. They are loyal, larger than life, and absolutely magnetic, but only until such time that everything is fine. The need and the ease of getting whatever a Leo wants often makes them full of themselves and when they don’t get what they desire, their dark side can be intimidating, violent and fiery, just like the sign itself – a fierce Lion.

Leos can be stubborn and headstrong. Their need to do things their way or the highway can make them absolutely difficult and dominating. The more stubborn they get, the more unbearable they make it for others around them. Their ego pushes them to believe that they are always right. This can make them close-minded to opinions or criticism.

The lack of the ability to try new things due to their close-minded behaviour or strong inflated ego sometimes does not allow them to be the successful and magnetic personalities they were born to be.

They suffer from a strange kind of Jealousy. This jealousy creeps in when they feel a lack of attention from their partners. They secretly believe that their partners need to keep them on a pedestal. And they are willing to do the same for them. Whether they demand it or not, they always want attention from the one they love. The lack of attention can make them jealous, even angry because in their head they chose you and your loyalty only belongs to them.

But if they feel that they must constantly beg for your attention, their pride will make them move on from you never to return. But before they go, they will show their nasty violent side. Leo is a fixed fire sign. This means that they have tempers hotter than even an Aries. If the violent temper takes over, it can burn much more than the relationship. It can burn the heart and burn the bridges. Forget your way back into Leo’s life once they have decided to discard you. You are either in their heart or outside of their territory. Once their pride is hurt, you will never hear from them again.
