Five things to keep in your home to maintain peace and love

In our fast-paced, stressful lives, creating a peaceful and loving environment at home has become more important than ever. The energy in your home can significantly influence your mood, relationships, and overall well-being. Fortunately, certain items can help create a harmonious atmosphere, promoting peace, love, and positive energy. Here are five things you can keep in your home to maintain a tranquil and loving space.

2/6

Buddha statue

A Buddha statue can symbolize peace, mindfulness, and harmony. A Buddha statue in your house would work best if placed inside a room where you meditate or spend time in reflection, this way it can encourage a feeling of calmness and serenity.

Keep the Buddha in a quiet, clean, clutter-free space. The best place to keep it is preferably in a direction that faces either the centre of the room or towards a door to let positive energy flow easily through it.

3/6

Mirrors

In Feng Shui, a mirror is considered a reflective medium of energy. Strategically placed in a home, they could be a way of increasing chi (energy). A mirror placed in the right position will make the room feel larger, brighter, and more inviting, which naturally creates a sense of openness and space.

Mirrors should not be placed directly opposite to doors or beds because it sucks away all the good energy that way. Instead, position them in areas where they can reflect natural light, as this helps amplify calmness and clarity.

4/6

Money Plant (Pothos)

A money plant (also known as Pothos or Devil’s Ivy) is not just a symbol of wealth and prosperity, but it is also a plant that is often associated with good luck and harmony. In Feng Shui, it’s believed that the plant attracts positive energy, creating an environment filled with peace and love. The money plant comes with heart-shaped leaves symbolizing love and growth. It's also easy to maintain without causing much fuss.

Apart from its symbolic meanings, the money plant helps improve air quality by absorbing toxins and releasing oxygen, which can contribute to a more peaceful and healthful environment. It’s also said to promote positive and abundant energy, making it ideal for your living room or bedroom.

5/6

Clear crystal stones

Clear crystal stones, such as clear quartz or amethyst, cleanse the negative energy associated with a place and promote healing. Such stones are believed to carry mighty energies, which can be balanced and charged in your house, too. In particular, clear quartz is mostly used because it amplifies positive energies. It is also an excellent tool to build peace and love in your house.

Crystal stones can be placed in key areas of your home, such as the living room or your meditation space. Not only do they improve the energy flow, but they can also serve as beautiful decorative pieces, adding a sense of tranquillity to your surroundings.

6/6

Wind chimes

Wind chimes are used to bring harmony and balance to a space. The gentle sound of wind chimes clears stagnant energy and brings positive chi (life force) into the home.

Hanging wind chimes around windows and doors would allow the slight breeze to stir them up which will create a soothing sound that can help reduce stress and create a peaceful atmosphere.
