Taylor Swift and Travis Scott’s rumored wedding at Madison Square Garden is very likely to be one of the most extravagant celebrity events, with estimates suggesting the celebration may carry a staggering $ 20 million price tag.Sonal Shah, who is a luxury wedding planner in Manhattan told The Post that, “I would expect the cost of renting Madison Square Garden for a Saturday-night wedding to be approximately $1 million to $2.5 million before you even begin building the wedding itself,” Shah told The Post.“But for a celebrity wedding of this scale, the venue fee would likely be just a fraction of the overall budget” she added.According to the Bride's Magazine, Shah is one of the most renowned wedding planners in America, having an experience of two decades.Speculations intensify that the wedding might be taking place on July 3. As Page Six reported, the couple chose the venue, MSG, because “privacy was of number one importance to them.”As TMZ reported, the venue has “no windows from which photographers can shoot pictures of the event”, where reportedly the crowd could be around 1,100 to 1,200. MSG has “underground parking,” guests will enter and exit MSG through safe passage.
Sonal Shah while talking about the venue said, “A weekend night at one of the most iconic venues in the world is not just about renting the space, you’re also paying for exclusivity, staffing, security, operations, and the opportunity cost of a concert or sporting event that could otherwise be taking place”.“Once you add production, security, catering, entertainment and décor, a Madison Square Garden wedding could very realistically become a $10 million to $20 million-plus event,” she added.Taylor Swift’s relationship status has always been a hot topic besides her songs. Everything started in 2023, with Kelce reportedly attending Swift's Eras Tour show at Kansas City’s Arrowhead Stadium. In a podcast with his brother, he later revealed how he wanted to catch a glimpse of Taylor after the show, although it didn't work out.Cut to October, 2023, the scenario turned with Taylor's attending of Kelce's play. She brought her tailgate group there which included Blake Lively, Sabrina Carpenter and Sophie Turner to watch the Chiefs play the New York Jets in New Jersey.Everything went public when the “Love Story” singer in her 'Times Person of the Year' cover interview admitted their relationship. She said it all started when he “very adorably put me on blast on his podcast, which I thought was metal as hell.” She went on:“We started hanging out right after that. So we actually had a significant amount of time that no one knew, which I’m grateful for, because we got to get to know each other,” she added. And, no, for the record, their first date wasn’t at a Chiefs game. “By the time I went to that first game, we were a couple. I think some people think that they saw our first date at that game? We would never be psychotic enough to launch a first date,” Swift said, as reported by Vogue.
