Rishab Shetty reacts on #MeToo at 50-day celebrations of ‘Sarkari Hiriya Prathamika Shale Kasaragodu Koduge Ramanna Rai’

The #MeToo movement, which is a hot topic in Bollywood recently moved to Sandalwood, when music director Raghu Dixit confessed to the allegations. Apart from Raghu Dixit's case, no such case has been heard about anyone in Kannada.
Director Rishab Shetty who spoke about #MeToo on the 50th-day celebration of ‘Sarkari Hiriya Prathamika Shale Kasaragodu Koduge Ramanna Rai’ said, "I have no idea about the #metoo campaign.What I say is it is a season. Every time a hashtag comes in a season and fades away. Instead of telling us that it when the season comes, it should be said that when such an incident happened on them.”
He also added, "If the affected person raises the issue immediately, then the results will get even faster. Even the media will help them, instead of waiting for the hashtag.”
"When things happen it should be said to media immediately, rather than waiting for 10 years. If the complaint is raised immediately, you will get an immediate response. It's good to do things that happen often,” said Rishab Shetty.
