Holi Murder Case: MCD Demolishes ‘Illegal Portions’ Of Accused’s House In Delhi’s Uttam Nagar

Four days after the alleged murder of 26-year-old Tarun Kumar in Delhi’s Uttam Nagar, civic authorities and Delhi Police carried out a demolition drive at the residence of one of the accused. Officials brought cranes and bulldozers to the JJ Colony area on Sunday morning and demolished portions of the three-storey building identified as illegally constructed. Visuals from the site showed workers using hammers to break parts of the structure as heavy police presence and Rapid Action Force personnel were deployed to maintain order. Sources said the action targeted only the unauthorised sections of the house and not the entire building. Tarun Kumar was allegedly beaten to death following a dispute linked to a water-filled balloon during Holi celebrations.
