Jammu and Kashmir pacer Auqib Nabi produced a dream debut spell, taking four wickets in four balls on his way to a five-for, as North Zone secured a 175-run first-innings lead over East Zone in the Duleep Trophy.

After North Zone were bowled out for 405, thanks to Manishi’s 6-111, East Zone replied with 230.

Nabi stunned East Zone in the 53rd over, dismissing Virat Singh, Manishi and Mukhtar Hussain for a hat-trick, before striking again next ball and removing Mohammed Shami to complete his five-for. Earlier, Wadhawan (76) and Nabi (44) were North Zone’s key contributors with the bat.
