Strategic Break! Delhi Capitals are reeling at 77/5, and the decision to bat first has not gone well so far. However, this is not a 200-plus wicket like we usually see here, so Tristan Stubbs holds the key for the home side, and if, with the help of others, they can fight their way to 140-150, it will still be a fighting score on this tricky surface. Chennai Super Kings will be pleased, and their spinners have done the most damage, making the most of the turning pitch. But they know that they will have to finish well and not give DC any sniff of getting back in this game. Also, Gurjapneet Singh to bowl after the break.

STRATEGIC BREAK! Chennai Super Kings have dominated the early exchanges so far and have been rewarded for their discipline with the ball. This isn't the kind of surface where batters can freely hit through the line, and spinners have got the ball to grip and turn. The Delhi Capitals have been guilty of playing too many dot balls. They will be better served by rotating the strike and keeping the scoreboard moving, even if boundaries are hard to come by. Uh..oh! It has started to drizzle here in Delhi, but the umpires think it is not heavy enough to call for the covers just yet. Also, Axar Patel is the next batter in. CSK bring on Gurjapneet Singh into the attack as well.
