Royal Challengers Bengaluru confirmed a top-two spot in the 2025 IPL standings. RCB are in pursuit of their maiden IPL crown and will take on Punjab Kings in the Final on 3 June.

1. KKR vs RCB (RCB won by 7 wickets)
RCB opened their IPL 2025 campaign with a win over Kolkata Knight Riders. After KKR posted 175, Virat Kohli led the chase with a composed 59 off 36 balls. 2. RCB vs CSK (RCB win by 50 runs)
RCB made it two in two with a dominant performance against Chennai Super Kings. After setting a target of 197, the bowlers restricted CSK to just 146. Rajat Patidar's 50 off 32 balls earned him the Player of the Match, while Josh Hazlewood’s 3/21 was pivotal in the win.
3. RCB vs GT (GT won by wickets)
Bengaluru suffered their first defeat of the season to Gujarat Titans. Defending 169, RCB couldn’t contain GT, who chased the target with 13 balls to spare. Former RCB bowler Mohammed Siraj took 3/19 against his old franchise and was named Player of the Match.

Delhi Capitals ended RCB’s winning momentum with a clinical chase. RCB’s 163 proved insufficient as KL Rahul smashed 93 to guide DC to victory. Kuldeep Yadav (2/17) and Vipraj Nigam (2/18) helped restrict RCB, with Rahul taking home the Player of the Match award.

In a rain-reduced 14-over match, RCB managed just 95, which Punjab Kings chased with 11 balls and five wickets to spare. Despite the loss, Tim David was named Player of the Match for his 26-ball fifty.
8. PBKS vs RCB (RCB won by 7 wickets)
Just two days after their previous clash, RCB got their revenge with a seven-wicket win. Chasing 158, Virat Kohli anchored the innings with a 73-run knock and was named Player of the Match.
9. RCB vs RR (RCB won by 11 runs)
RCB continued their strong run, posting 205 against Rajasthan Royals. Kohli scored 70 off 42, while Josh Hazlewood’s 4/33 dismantled the RR batting order. Hazlewood was named Player of the Match.

RCB chased down Delhi’s target of 162 with ease. Krunal Pandya played a decisive role with a match-winning 73 off 47 deliveries. Kohli chipped in with a steady 50 from 47. Pandya earned his second Player of the Match award of the season.
