Darwish Rasooli's career-best 58 off 42 balls propelled Afghanistan to a total of 153 for six in their 20 overs. Rasooli's half-century proved crucial to Afghanistan's innings.

He and Gulbadin Naib shared a vital 52-run partnership off 33 balls for the sixth wicket. Naib remained unbeaten on 26 from 21 balls.

Zimbabwe struggled in their chase, falling to 5-57 in the 11th over. Captain Sikandar Raza's 35 off 30 balls provided some resistance.

However, Zimbabwe were eventually bowled out for 103 in 17.4 overs. The final T20 match will be played at the same venue on Saturday.

The two teams will then compete in three One-Day Internationals and two Test matches, beginning on December 26.
