Maharashtra governor condoles death of UP minister Chetan Chauhan

Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari on Sunday condoled the death of former cricketer and UP minister Chetan Chauhan. Chauhan, 73, died on Sunday due to COVID-19 related complications at a hospital in Gurugram.

MUMBAI: Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari on Sunday condoled the death of former cricketer and UP minister Chetan Chauhan. Chauhan, 73, died on Sunday due to COVID-19 related complications at a hospital in Gurugram.
"Shri Chetan Chauhan was not only a great cricketer and cricket administrator, but was also a dedicated social worker. He did significant work as Member of Parliament and later as a Minister in the government of Uttar Pradesh.

"I had the privilege of knowing Shri Chetan Chauhan intimately. His demise is a great loss to the world of cricket and to society at large. I convey my heartfelt condolences on his demise to the members of the bereaved family," the governor said in his message.
