Azmatullah Omarzai to Ayush Badoni, TWO WIDES! Excellent wicket-keeping from Josh Inglis. Back of a length, angling just down leg, slower too, Badoni misses the pull as Inglis dives down to his left to pouch the ball. Pant is through quickly for the single but a direct hit from the keeper would have been curtains for Pant.

Azmatullah Omarzai to Rishabh Pant, A bit short and angled in at the hips, Rishabh Pant nonchalantly flicks it away in between deep square leg and fine leg and picks up a couple of runs.

Yuzvendra Chahal to Rishabh Pant, FOUR! Too short again from Yuzi, on the pads, Rishabh Pant rocks back and stands tall before pulling it away in front of square leg for a boundary.

Badoni adjusts to ease it away into the off side but is beaten past the outside edge again. LSG are 38/3 after the Powerplay, their worst one of the season.

Arshdeep Singh to Nicholas Pooran, OUT! LBW! A prolonged appeal for LBW and eventually, the finger goes up. Nicholas Pooran has reviewed it and he just had to, given the state of the game. Arshdeep Singh just pulls the length back a couple of inches and bowls it pretty straight, angling it in from around middle. Pooran looks to swing it away over the leg side but misses it completely and the ball pings him on the pads. The third umpire is called in and there's nothing on UltraEdge. Ball Tracking shows three reds and giving Arshdeep an extra over has worked wonders for PBKS as he gets his third wicket. LSG sink further to 27/3 as Pooran departs for just 6 (5).

Arshdeep Singh to Rishabh Pant, On a fuller length outside off, swinging further away, Rishabh Pant just leaves it alone. Just one run and two big wickets off that over for Arshdeep!

Back-of-a-length delivery from Arshdeep, in the channel around off and this one holds its line. Aiden Markram looks to rock back and power it off the back foot, but it is just too close to the body. In the end, the extra bounce also undoes Markram, and he ends up getting an inside edge back onto the stumps. LSG in deep trouble already at 16/2!

Arshdeep Singh to Mitchell Marsh, OUT! CAUGHT! That is a mighty fine catch from Nehal Wadhera and Arshdeep Singh sees the back of a dangerous Mitchell Marsh early. Arshdeep bowls this one just back of a length around leg and gets it to push across the right-hander. Marsh takes a couple of steps forward and looks to flick off the pads but ends up lifting it high into the night sky. The ball hangs in the sky for an eternity, goes over the infield and in front of deep square leg. Wadhera comes in from deep backward square leg, keeps his eyes on the ball and manages to pouch it. A second duck against PBKS for Marsh this season!
