Delhi registered a convincing 2-0 victory over Haryana in the second round of the Under-21 National Football tournament at Gurgaon.

NEW DELHI, May 3: Delhi registered a convincing 2-0 victory over Haryana in the second round of the Under-21 National Football tournament at Gurgaon, near here today.
Delhi took an early lead in the third minute through Prakash Nath but none of the teams could shake the net for rest of the first half at the Tau Chowdary Devilal Stadium.
Delhi was leading 1-0 at the break.

As the two teams resumed the battle in the second session, most of which also went barren, B J Kabui struck in the 81st minute to seal the matter in Delhi's favour.
Delhi, who have three points, needs a win against Uttranchal on Friday to keep its hope alive in the competition.
Uttranchal drew 1-1 with Jammu and Kashmir in the morning session.
After the barren first half, Uttranchal opened the account when Rajinder Singh scored the goal in the 70th minute but J and K's Raman Singh equalised it in the 90th minute.
J-K and Uttranchal have four points each from two matches.
