I will give my best on the pitch, says Daniel Parejo on joining Villarreal

CHENNAI: It's been a week since Daniel Parejo was presented officially as the new signing of Villarreal CF. The 31 year-old midfielder arrives to Estadio de la Céramica from Valencia as a big reinforcement in the midfield of the 'groguets' that will play in the Europe League next season. And he sounded excited.
"First of all, I would like to thank everyone.I am so proud to be here, being part of the Villarreal family. Everyone I know that has played here before talked really good about the club, the teammates, how the club cares about their players and they also told me that I am going to feel very comfortable. I am really excited and happy, I know the club is making a big effort. Not only with me, but with everyone in this project. They brought a great coach in Unai Emery that has been coaching big teams, won a lot of titles and the only thing I have to say is that every time I wear this T-shirt and these colors I will give my best on the pitch. I am going to try to help my teammates, inside the field and outside in everything I can," Parejo said in quotes shared by La Liga.
He further added: "Playing in the way Villarreal plays is a responsibility. Football is like that, and it's also my character. I never hide on the pitch, I like to have the ball, be on the game, take care of the timing of the game and I think at the end what brought me here is my way of playing and my personality.
