Mohod brace sparks City Police's NDFA Elite Division Football win

NAGPUR: Manish Mohod hammered a superb brace to propel City Police to a ruthless 4-0 victory over Qidwai Sporting Club in the Meghe NDFA Elite Division Football League at the Police Line Takli ground here on Saturday.
Mohod struck once each in either half to shatter the hopes of Qidwai. The hard-working forward found the target in the 16th and 88th minutes.Afaqu Ansari and Azhar Sheikh chipped in with a goal each to complete Qidwai rout.
Ansar Club edged out Rahul Brothers 1-0 in the Super Division League encounter at the Motibagh ground. Mohsin Khan slammed the lone goal of the match in the 13th minute.
In the Senior Division League, Shakti Sporting pipped Nagpur City ‘A’ 3-2, courtesy a double strike by Chetan Parteki. Hemant Neware opened the account of Shakti early in the match. Suneel Sampang also scored a brace for Nagpur City ‘A’ but could not prevent defeat for his side.
