All about Formula E GEN4

The GEN4 is set to make its racing debut in the 2026/27 season. It can reach speeds of over 335kph and accelerate from 0-200kph in 4.4 seconds, with a 71 percent increase in power in Attack Mode compared to its predecessor.
It also features power steering and an ergonomic cockpit redesign, re-engineering the sport for inclusivity at the elite level.Andretti driver Jake Dennis said about the GEN4 cars, “I think that’s what the public have been calling for - quicker, faster cars - and honestly, that’s exactly what the GEN4 is. It’s an absolute beast: super quick, looks incredible, and I think it’s going to be a real eye-opener for everyone.”Envision Racing’s Sebastien Buemi also called it a beast. “It feels like a beast. I’d say it’s modern, it looks fast, you know? Big tyres, good aero and then when you see it drive or you drive it yourself, it’s pretty impressive. I think the biggest change is mainly aerodynamic. Obviously a lot more downforce, tyres are bigger and the car is more powerful. We’ll have four-wheel drive all the time, but a lot more power, so it’s like a very strong, improved GEN3 Evo,” he said. Also read: Monaco E-Prix 2026: Oliver Rowland returns to title fight with first win of season, Felipe Drugovich claims maiden podium
