What turned out to be completely bizarre was Mercedes driver Kimi Antonelli making it to the top spot for the sprint race of Miami Grand Prix F1 race. Following Antonelli was McLaren’s Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris. While Piastri was leading in the free practice, and had also won the championship in the Saudi Arabia Grand Prix.

How did drivers and team’s perform?

In some stunning revelations in the Miami Grand Prix, which is heating up — thanks to the temperature and the grid position, fans have their eyes glued to their mobile phones for each update. The results for the sprint race are as interesting and impressive as it can get. Mercedes’ youngest fame Kimi Antonelli powered through and reached the top spot, securing a tough spot, while being the first youngest F1 driver to be able to do that. During the free practice, Mercedes had struggled with their tires, thanks to the weather conditions.
Following Antonelli was McLaren’s Oscar Piastri, who has been performing well with stunning results on the podium. Oscar Piastri fell short by just 0.045s. His teammate, Lando Norris, who struggled in the free practice, managed to secure the third spot, which is pretty impressive. Red Bull’s Max Verstappen, who recently had a daughter with his girlfriend Kelly Piquet, named Lily, secured the fourth spot.
Antonelli’s teammate George Russell secured the fifth spot, despite the struggles.Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc struggled a bit, but he somehow managed to secure the sixth spot. The Ferrari pair of Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton will start from P6 and P7 respectively, followed by the Williams of Alex Albon in P8, Racing Bulls’ Isack Hadjar in P9 and Fernando Alonso for Aston Martin in P10.

Mercedes’ Kimi Antonelli calls it an intense qualifying

Reacting to how the results turned out in the sprint qualifying round, Mercedes’ driver Kimi Antonelli said:"It was a very intense Qualifying, I felt really good since this morning and I felt confident going into Qualifying. The last lap was mighty and I put basically everything together and it was nice it came very nicely.
