“Nothing will ever be the same”: Kelly Piquet shares emotional moments with Max Verstappen from Brazil

Red Bull star Max Verstappen and his girlfriend Kelly Piquet seem to have wrapped up their vacation in Brazil. The couple, along with their daughters Penelope and Lily, were holidaying in Angra dos Reis in Rio de Janeiro and appear to have enjoyed a blissful time together after Verstappen took a long, much-needed break following the conclusion of the F1 season. Piquet now seems heartbroken as the break comes to an end, during which she also spent time with her parents and her brother Nelson Piquet Jr, along with his wife and baby.Taking to Instagram to document some of her visual treasures from Rio de Janeiro, Kelly Piquet wrote alongside a bunch of pictures from Brazil, “Nothing that was will ever be the way it once was.” She also added a mended heart emoji.The post includes pictures of Max Verstappen and Kelly Piquet with her six-year-old daughter Penelope and their baby girl Lily. The images show Verstappen spending quality time with Penelope, who bonds very well with the Red Bull driver. They are seen playing with a giant ball on the beach and taking a walk around their beach resort, with the driver holding her hand for safety.There are also pictures of Piquet walking on the beach with Verstappen while holding Lily in her arms. She shared a few more pictures with Lily as they introduced her to the Brazilian beach. A solo picture also shows Verstappen wearing a jersey in Brazilian colours with his name on it, along with shorts and matching slippers.There is also a family picture of them all dressed in white from their New Year celebrations on a yacht. One picture shows Lily sitting on the lap of Piquet’s father, Nelson Piquet.Commenting on her post, her sister-in-law Patsy Zurita Piquet wrote, “Already missing you.” Reacting to the comment, a fan wrote, “My God, what a vacation! Just seeing the photos you're posting is so comforting; imagine being there all these days. Congratulations to whoever chose this place.”Another fan wrote about Verstappen, “Little P strutting around, I wasn't expecting Max in flip-flops and a Dora the Explorer backpack.” Another said, “Family!! Everything!!! Everything passes!! Bonds and love remain!! Eternally!!!”Max Verstappen will now gear up for the launch of the team’s 2026 F1 car, which is scheduled for January 15 in Michigan. Along with Red Bull, the Racing Bulls livery will also be unveiled.The upcoming season is expected to be very different from the one gone by due to the new regulations coming into effect. Verstappen also has a new teammate following the departure of Yuki Tsunoda, who had replaced Liam Lawson at the beginning of the 2025 season.
