Alpine driver Pierre Gasly still has some time on his hands before he returns to the track for F1 2026. The F1 driver gave fans a tour of his stunning Milan abode, where he lives when he is not travelling around the globe for the two dozen races on the jam-packed calendar. Unsurprisingly, Gasly had a lot to show in his house, from tonnes of memorabilia from NBA stars to his own helmets, trophies, pictures and paintings.

Pierre Gasly remembers late childhood friend Anthoine Hubert

In the home tour video shared by Formula 1 on YouTube, Pierre Gasly also spoke about the close friend he lost during a race, Anthoine Hubert, with whom he had grown up competing against in karting from the age of nine to 14.
Hubert tragically died during an F2 feature race in Belgium. Gasly organised a tribute walk at Spa-Francorchamps, where F1, F2 and F3 drivers ran a lap carrying bouquets to pay their respects at the spot where Hubert’s accident occurred. He recalled that during the time he was mourning Hubert’s loss, he was constantly asked questions about his demotion to Toro Rosso. However, he took it as a relief from what he was going through during his testing period at Red Bull.Commenting on the YouTube video, a fan wrote about Gasly: “Hearing Pierre talk about losing Anthoine at Spa 2019 always gets him choked up. Even though they were childhood friends, I hope Pierre knows that every time he gets into his car, he puts his heart and soul into every Grand Prix, using the memory of his late friend as strength to keep pushing and achieve greatness.”Pierre Gasly currently races for Alpine alongside Franco Colapinto. The 29-year-old French driver finished 18th in the F1 World Championship with 22 points and no podium finishes. Also read: Sergio Perez opens up on Red Bull psychologist episode and £6,000 bill sent to Helmut Marko
