Lately, Rockhold has been exploring life outside professional fighting. He recently revealed that he enjoys his current lifestyle and has no plans to chase fame in films or television.
Notably, Rockhold has not competed in mixed martial arts since 2022. However he did take part in a boxing match against Darren Till. The fight was held in 2025. While he remains connected to combat sports, his focus has shifted toward other ventures.
He is currently helping Khamzat Chimaev prepare for his upcoming bout against Sean Strickland at UFC 328.

Luke Rockhold spoke openly about his future plans to TMZ Sports. He made it clear that acting is not on his agenda. He explained that he likes to live on his own terms instead of following a fixed path set by others. He said acting or playing a different character does not interest him. The former UFC fighter added that being genuine and independent matters most to him.
Rockhold also said he is busy managing different business ventures. These are related to fitness, lifestyle, and nutrition. These projects keep him busy and motivated. Instead of going back to fighting full-time, he is working on growing his businesses. He is focused on living a more stable life.
Even though he is not fighting regularly now, Rockhold is still close to the sport. He is training with Khamzat Chimaev, who is getting ready for a big fight against Sean Strickland. Rockhold hinted that the training sessions have been intense and productive. He suggested that Chimaev is in strong form and ready for the challenge ahead.
When asked about a possible return to fighting, Rockhold did not completely shut the door. However, he made it clear that it would take a very large financial offer to bring him back. For now, he appears content with his current path. He is enjoying his freedom, exploring new opportunities, and staying connected to the sport in a different role.
