Marc Marquez brushes off test crashes, focused on Thailand MotoGP
The 2026 Thailand Grand Prix is scheduled for February 27-March 1. Marquez posted a video on Instagram and wrote: “Feels amazing to be back in Thailand! Pre-season over and more next week.”
Fans quickly filled the comments with support. One wrote, “Vamosss champ, can’t wait to see you.” Another added, “Can’t wait to see Marc back racing.” A third fan commented, “Preseason done, now time to shine! Vamos 93.” Many others shared encouraging messages ahead of the new season.
Speaking about the crashes during testing, Marc Marquez told GPBlog: “Maybe this afternoon I was too tired to do the long run, and honestly, the crash was due to a lack of concentration because yesterday I had stomach problems. Today it was much better, but my body still didn’t feel completely right.”
“But I’m very, very happy because the feeling with the bike was good all morning, and I was riding well. All three crashes I had this weekend were due to a lack of concentration. Of course, when you lose concentration, you go over the limit. The problem is I have that instinct to be fast, and when I’m fully concentrated, I can control it. If not, speed is not something easy to control,” he added.
